Gpz1100 forks - size of nut I need for holding tool

#1 PostAuthor: mike_p » Sun May 24, 2015 11:09 am

I need to replace the fork seals on my zx1100a1 and plan to make a tool for holding the inner while I remove the bottom fork bolt. I tried to remove it before loosening the top fork nut which usually works.......unfortunately the spring force just wasn't enough to hold it.......anyone know what size nut I need to weld onto a steel bar to hold on the inside ??
Ta in advance folks

Not sure if there the same but for z1000j, I used a couple of 1/2 "long extensions and the square end fits perfectly into the inner tube
