Testing Rotor Magnet strength
Guyz anyone know how to test a rotor magnet strength,apart from sticking a big spanner on it,thinking mine may have lost some strength,only getting about 20v ac reckon should be 40-50,stator .s .7 omhn across all 3 phase windings.....reckon thats fine

You need to find someone that works in a chemical plant that has bulk powder silos, these are normally fitted with magnets to catch the crap but tested using a gauss meter. This company does it for me on an annual basis:-
