I have heard that Denso's are the plug of choice, but what makes them better?

I saw a post a long time ago by Chris (Zeditor) and he reccomended Denso plugs and mentioned that NGK plugs once they foul up are basically scrap.I've been using Denso plugs for the year or so and have been very impressed.
The Denso iridium plugs are the bizz, even if they are a bit pricey. If you got a tuned motor they are the plugs to go for.A mate of mine who built my race motor and does a fair bit of rolling road work swears by Denso Iridium.
Just to add to Chris's comments about the NGK fouling problem,i'd had the same thing on my 1170 Lawson with a few sets of new NGK plugs but at the time thought it was an ignition problem elsewhere as the plugs were new.So after 20+ years with NGK I switched to Denso and wouldn't use anything else now.

Kev the Denso plugs dont seem to foulup the same as NGKs do,once there fouled up you throw them in the bin.Dont know if its something to to with the fuel now a days as years ago NGKs were the ones to have

Phil,i can't mate as i've lent to them to Ash as he's getting back into the DRAG scene. One thing though,I can't see how wearing womens clothing,make-up and a syrup will help improve 1/4 mile times!!!
