Z1100R - Engine Cover Bolts

#1 PostAuthor: Jumbo » Wed May 21, 2014 5:37 pm

Maybe a simple question or might be a stupid question.

I am in the process of cleaning up my Z1100R. Most of the Engine covers such as Clutch, Alternator & Sprocket covers have been stripped of paint and refitted with chrome bolts. Black bolts are available on Ebay. I have also repainted the covers black.

I checked the bolts on the Clutch cover which there is a total of 9 bolts but these were a mix of two different lengths.

Looking at the CMSL Parts online they actually show the lengths. So is this a fair guide or has anyone got a definitive list ?

If you refer to the parts diagrams on the US Kawasaki website (kawasaki, com under owner details or something similar) it gives you part numbers, bolt lengths and thread size. I think the parts list you are referring to are the same source.
