Hi I have a set of 33mm smoothbores I am fitting to a standard Z1100R motor running K&N oval filters and a 4 into 1 free flowing exhaust. Any ideas on jetting out there to give me a starting point would be much appreciated.
Thanks

The mikuni 33 manual recommends,
kz1000/1100
Main jet 127
Air jet 1.2
jet needle 6dj30-4
needle jet 261-0.6
Pilot jet 17.5
throttle valve 1.5
Air screw 3/4 out
However a trick with these is to use a 0.06 air jet which gives much better low speed response and allows a smaller main jet rating.
My 1075 motor with std cam runs well on
the above settings but with a 120 mains and a 0.06 air jet. But the airscrew is 1.5 turns out.
(between suzy's and kwackers the throttle valve cutaway is slightly different so make sure you're 33's have the 1,5 cutaway)
