1000A2 Rear M/Cylinder

Hi there
Has anybody got one of the above in working order that they may want to sell ?
Failing that , where is the best place to get a repair/refurb kit ? Z-Power ? What do the kits include ?
Had it in bits, bit dirty but piston etc cleaned up well, blew it all through and all looked a-ok....but cannot bleed rear system, sooo .

As far as I remember it is only possible to buy the piston from Z Power.
I bought a genuine one as the rest of my cylinder was in good condition. The worst thing that can happen to these is the sort of jellified corrosion that builds up due to time.
I guess you have already pulled yours apart and given it a good clean. You would also have noticed if there was any bore wear or damage to the piston rubber seal.

The dust boot is not available but I have new reservoir O rings available.

A second hand cylinder from Ebay US is a better option than UK as they suffer less corrosion than we do.

Thanks for reply tlc. Yep , contacted Z power and priced piston. Thought I'd have one last go at bleeding. Read up on bleafing a completely emptied system. ....and bled the cylinder first by blocking b/bolt hole with thumb and pumping fluid through/ out of there first....tighten banjo bolt, then do line and caliper secondly. ...VIOLA !

Yeh TLC,
Slept on it and more importantly "thought on it "...as the cylinder/piston seemed so good once cleaned up. Its a big volume to bleed through in a oner if the whole system has been emptied... was actually a ZXR forum link where I found the tip on bleeding the M.cylinder itself first... Live n' learn as they say.
