#1 PostAuthor: angeleddie » Thu Sep 06, 2007 8:43 pm

Hello,

I am in the process of restoring my Z1000J1. Can anybody help with the following problems

1) At some stage an oil cooler has been fitted, however it would appear that as part of this process thay have omitted the oil pressure switch. The wiring for the swich is still there but joined to nothing???

2) Would anybody no where I could get hold of an accurate wiring diagram for this bike as there are a few electrcal issues?

Thanks in advance fo rany help or advice offered.

Best wiring diagram is in the Kawa' workshop manual . Well worth buying one as most of the answers to any questions about the bike are in there .

Best to get the genuine Kawasaki workshop manual.
There's usually one or two on ebay for sale. They're not as cheap as the Clymer ones but are more informative and easy to follow.
I've got a spare one if you want to borrow it to get your wiring sorted out.
Just email me your address and I'll get it in the post.
Check with Z-POWER how much they are new:01942 262864.
