Local lad who is good with his hands is nearly finished this'em started with a Z1R frame only and went on a parts hunt, ZX9 front and rear, Z1B mot bored to 1100cc. will try and post more pics and story but don.t have much time these days.

very nice,those xr-exup rear ends look good in old kawis,like the smoked leneses as well,like to see it with the exhaut fitted :wink:

Cracking bike.

Neil I think he said the rear end and fronts are zx9 so its all kwacker not any exup bits.

I would love to see more on how the rear end is fitted as it looks great.

Would like to know exactly how that rear end is fitted as i have one for my project and it's a fraction too wide...

also the hole for the shock is offset.

ZX9 front and rear not sure what year.

Rear section was jigged and spread, cant remember think it could've being 25mm, spacers made up with longer engine mount bolts, amazingly chain lined up with offset sprocket but rubs on rear clutch cover, needs to be trimed a wee bit, try and get some close up pics, easyer to use a wider ST frame but pretty scarce over this way.

from memory the shock hole is in centre.
