I just drift them out with a semi circular shaped drift and replace with new ones..

these are a brilliant bit of kit better than using a drift as this fits dirrectly into the bearing + you just knock in the tapered tool from the opposite side

G, just a quick note..
If it is a front hub of a Z1, Z1A or Z1B, there is a single large circlip behind the oil seal that retains the bearing, this obviously needs to be removed.

Thanks for your help guys. I guessed I would be drifting them out but there doesnt seem to be a lip/point to get any purchase on. Not tried yet though thought best to seek the knowledge on here first.

That tool may be on the agenda if I dont get any joy drifting !

Thanks for the circlip shout too.Its actually an a4 but I have learned something else. Cheers everyone g

Or take a grinder to your existing drift to get a nice 90 degree face on it so it grips better onto the inner side of what you're drifting
Sometimes the tubular spacer between the 2 wheelbearings is very snug and it's difficult to find an "edge" to drift against (so your blind bearing puller won't work either). in that case I lower the drift down till the tip is alongside where the end of the spacer is , and hit the drift sideways, this knocks the spacer sideways a bit and hey presto an edge of the bearing is revealed to drift against.
the spacer can be a pest but don't be tempted to leave it out!
