Found this lot of head parts and gudgen pins marked up Z1000J ?
Are they the same parts as Z900/Z1000?, They look to be but I dont have a stripped down head to measure up/compare.

I have an idea that the "J" had slightly larger diameter piston pins?

No.
The J and early Gpz have 17mm pins.
Later 83 onwards Gpz has 18mm.
