Want to store the calipers i just took off.
Cant be bothered to completely strip them.
Any advice about how to stop them going furry?
Wash them out with something?
They may get used again.

As you realise the best way is to strip them down and clean all parts in metho!
If not stripping down, I would buy some "assembly oil" especially for brakes and coat them liberally with that. Rubber parts love the stuff and I would try and empty as much as possibly all the dot 3 / dot 4 out . That synthetic brake fluid I don't know much about.
