Funny thing is I have hundreds of pic's from that era and there is very few Kawasaki's in them, big Suzuki's were the weapon of choice back then only when I get to 85 Do Gpz's turn up.

Spot on too about Scottish leg end Wattie Brown , he's still showing plenty of riders the quick way round at the Manx Grand Prix .

My mate Dennis Brown at the Island 700 short bike 88 and 750 tony baker long bike 89 he was second to Mike Boddice.used to travel and spanner for him happy days.

My old mate Roy Anderson on the Hulk doing what he did best on his CBX, he could hussle the bike and put many a proper race bike to shame,scarry to watchImage.

East Fortune 83, more big Suzuki's don't ya just love them,Gordon Grigor in front on GSX1100 (they my be ugly but they were fast)chased by Howard Selby, Brain Morrison,Eric McFarlane.

Early Shot of Gordon Grigor on his GS1000S 1980, he had a very upright riding style but it seemed to work he was one of the fastest riders in Scotland in his day.Image
