Anyone got a Z1000 mkII tank they'd like to sell,or Z1000ST.Lady member of Z Club WA needs petrol tank!

The ST tank will not fit a MKII

Bought a MKII tank for my ST. Thats how I know :cry:

do have several tanks but shipping to australia makes it non attractive i think

Old Zed...just curious....

What area does it not fit?

Would i be right in guessing it's towards the rear of the tank and fouls on the frame.

it has a different mounting bracket than the MK2
it also is slightly taller than a MK2 tank
way too many Zeds

Managed to have a look at some pictures of an ST tank and the mounting points are much higher near the headstock...suppose it allows the tank to be closer to the frame & hence hold more fuel.
