Blowing main fuse
Can anyone shed any light...went to start my 1976 Z900 A4 this morning. Turned the ignition on, hit the starter button, the engine fired and run for a couple of seconds and then the bike cut out. I checked the main fuse and that had blown. Turned the ignition off and replaced the fuse, now every time I turn the key in the ignition I blow the main fuse?
If it's too loud....too bad.

you have a dead short somewhere. You need to disconnect stuff until it no longer blows - the last thing you disconnect will then be the cause.
I'd start by disconnecting the starter at the solenoid end (easiest to get to) and then work from there
maybe someone else will a better suggestion but I normally work on a process of elimination.
