Just putting oil seals and new oil etc in the forks and the top of the forks seem different to the haynes manual,this is what mines look like,just a blanking plug at the top that screws in?Instead of the dampers sticking out the top.Anyone seen these before?

If it's the same Haynes manual that I'm looking at, are you talking about the pic on page 132, fig 5-2? If so, it shows 2 top yolks. The onr top left is the ZX10. the one on the right is the ZZR, at least I think that's the way it is!
I've has a look in the Kawasaki manual, and it seems to show a diagram that looks like your photo.
I'm not taking my ZX10 apart to check though!!
Nice bike, I just got one a few weeks ago after selling my original one about 14 years ago.

What's your like below 5000 rpm? Mine feels a bit weak, then at 5000rpm it's like a demon. does that sound right to you?
