Z900 A4 Neutral Switch not working. How to replace?

#1 PostAuthor: Avelar » Tue Apr 24, 2007 6:40 am

Hi,

My neutral switch has stopped working on my 1976 Z900 A4. My Haynes manual does not show much about replacement. Is it a big job?
Any advice appreciated.

Thanks

The neutral switch is in beside the engine sprocket it just screws out - if that's what the problem is it's easily enough replaced. They don't often break.

More likely to be the connector / wiring than the switch.

Have to agree with Rich, also could be a build-up of chain lube/crap.
Four pipes rule, anything else is second best.
