Been a while since the last post I have fitted the fuel injection system and airbox . Fitted all the engine covers and new chain etc. I have now started on the wiring. Had a nice surprise this morning when the recovered seat landed from Saddlecraft. Cannot recommend them enough excellent work. They fitted a gel pad at the front for those longer trips.
Will get the bike out of the garage for some photo's over the weekend.

Its been a slow old rebuild but i finally managed to complete the wiring and fit the new leads and plug caps I bought at the recent Newark show. Ted popped round yesterday and helped me fit the right hand exhaust. (Hobbo turned up for a coffee ten minutes after the exhaust was fitted as usual) Just waiting for the other side to have the inner skin spigot welded by Hutch then I can paint and fit the rest of the exhaust. I went with the original matt black on the exhaust rather than gloss or satin. Heres a couple of pictures of her today no where near the splendid restorations of he likes of Ralphs ST or Guys Z650 but this one was always intended to be a quick tidy up to use and abuse this summer.
Fingers crossed the next pictures will be of the completed bike.
