the first piece to the slaughter...woops mill :lol: is me engine plate,for some reason when the guy originaly made it,he gave loads of extra ribbing on the outside edge,so i've spent this afternoon and part of to-nite(told yeh it took us longer :wink: ) just milling that off flush(about 4mm) now thats done,next task is to blend it all in,gonna use a fly-cutter for this................ http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=QeXBdL2eFVc

Thanks for the update, just out of interest what do you reckon it will weigh, how much horse power and what sort of times are you aiming for?

Like Jack i cant wait to see this finished and after watching it being built would love to be there when you first run it on the strip. Perhaps we could arrange a z1 owners club "trip to the strip" to lend a bit of support!

great,with the new pt master cylinder we can get the handlebars right down to acu min,thus...... grips are now tightly tucked behind the fairing

There are tons of them out there, but people just do not want to pay for " the skill ", I never have trouble getting any thing machined when I need it, cnc or manual machined.

prices are reasonable enough too
