I must be the only one who had problems with the Carbtune after a while the slides got all gunked up and I could not clean them up, as per instructions. I bought a system from Motion Pro. They use a liquid instead of the metal slides. Each tube is seperate so you calibrate all on one cylinder first then you are good to go. I used to use Mercury long time ago. I built a set in the 70's when you could still get your hands on the stuff. was always afraid of spilling the jar I keep it in so I got rid of it a few years back

When i first did mine i found that the choke rod 'fork' to 'plunger' top clearance (waist) varied between nothing and 'oh my god'. I would guess that the chokes had never been balanced since original supply. I found it a good investment of my time to set these first with a cold engine on choke before getting to the main event. Luckily only one was partially open when the choke was in the off position but it would have effected the overall 'set' of the next stage.

Yes got a set and only mod i have done is to get 4 plastic clamps from the local fish emporium to damp down the fluctuations on the rods.
