Should be able to start charging for admission to see the Pigford Collection soon Mark. Must say though that that one looks to be a good solid bike to start changing into something better looking than it does now.

Needs a lot of work,

How many projects on the go now?

Harris,
W650
This z
mk2 ?

Should keep you busy over the winter months!

Mind you I cannot criticize, currently up to 4 of my own and have taken on someone else's

Harris is a slow burner - as it's burnt most of my savings
W650 is sorted - no more messing, just tidied it up a bit & riding it.
MkII - errrm, gonna play with it over winter :??
LTD - no rush, as and when............. gonna copy Ginger Bears bike

Crofty - can't charge for viewing as it's all posted on here !

Hinckley - Just joking about the GPz cam end-caps! My Mk.II Sprinter has a GPz head, a common performance mod for Zeds.
And on the 7th day... Zeds were created!

Where are you putting them all? Last time I visited you had too many bikes for your garage and that was a lot less

Started to get some of me stash together - in readiness for tarting the old heap up.....

That rear wheel is a genuine Z1 item - you can tell by the lack of "brake lining" indicator on the hub!

Got this to fit as well - need summink nice and comfy at my age

Got the missing engine mounts from D&K bikes, via eBay - no probs

Then decided to rip off the rear muddie & light unit and fit the neat one I had stashed in the garage........

......... looks good me thinks

Gonna clean up & re-paint the Jock Kerr 4:1 before fitting it to see how it looks - then strip out the rear end and bung the JMC & Z1 wheel in along with some proper shox.....

The more I look at this bike, the more I find that needs doing  Hey-Ho, way to go - gimme summink to play with for a while

Looking good already there Mr Pigford :up Whats that back light off - ZZR600 or ER500 maybe? Fits in well under the tail piece anyhow

Is that an air tank built into the JMC?

That is indeed an air tank - not that I intend to use that function

The light is off an ER5n or summink like that

Got me some more wheels - did a swap for some XR400 dirt wheels.....

Image

....... dunno what I'm gonna do with them yet though

Had a spare few minutes this lunchtime, so I had a play with my wheels........ seem to be drifting away from my original plan - too much temptation stashed away :??

Image

These are some re-furbed Z900 forks I did a swap for, a few years back; re-chromed, new seals & oil.

Image

This JMC is for a drum brake wheel, but not difficult to overcome.

Image

I had a new disc for my old XR400 and its a nice chunky 4.5mm item, rather than the 3mm standard thing! Obviously this route would open up a can of worms - needing: spacers galour, 1-off sprox & axles, caliper adaptor plate, etc.....
