BunnysZ did ask me to post a map of the Sowf West lads route...
I am talking to our Leader and we are in the final throws of sorting out the details....
Me and Mikey will rendezvous at Ralphy's at about 10:00 hours :!:
Then we head to the Rally.
Hopefully Ralphy will be able to fill in the gaps, so any other members can plan to meet up with us along the way :P
And on the 7th day... Zeds were created!

My mate John Hopkins who some of you met at the Ace tirelessly designed this route when he was living in Leeds and has kindly written it out for me. Took me long enough to copy it into the computer so I can print it out the right size for my tank bag, so it must have taken him ages. I have also colour copied 12 pages form his big lorry drivers bible to fit into my tank bag mappy bit and have inked in the route in red. If the rain holds off it should be a great ride. Approx 220 miles from Bristle of perfik bike roads, avoiding areas of high camera population. Two short bits of M Way either end. :D

Ahh but you miss out on the Wye Valley and the Peak District and will probably see about forty seven thousand speed cameras and be riding on crowded roads, where as this route avoids traffic and aims for real riding roads.

My skin and blister used to live in York so I have ridden and driven the more obvious route many times and I can't say it was much of a pleasure. This route appears to be fab. But if we don't like it we can always come back A roads/motorways, but I doubt we will!

I'll still carry me Garmin, just in case!

Nice route through Derbys Ralph, the Tideswell to Bradwell bit is really good :D

When you hit the Hope to Hathersage road (A6187) turn R at lights (pub just across the road) at lights turn L to Bamford (petrol station there), carry on at Ladybower lights turn R then first left for the unclass..
