So.....once you lot have stopped hitting each other with your hand bags !
Can anyone offer a bit of advice ?
Piggy.....?
I got a z1000a2 with what I think is a standard motor, carbs are a bit old and leaky and I am thinking of replacing them with something more modern.
I don't want to spend a fortune so I want to pick up a set of standard carbs from a an other bike....gsxr etc ?
Can anyone suggest a good choice that will fit fairly easily and run good on the bike with a standard motor, I would prefer slide carbs than cv's but because all the slides are getting pretty old now may have to go cv's.
Any ideas ?

Its all down to how many spondoolicks you have to throw at it
As stated... CV's can work OK, but if they don't you can go round in circles trying to sort them out
Say messing around & get a decent set of Mikuni RFS34 or 36's. If you get rid of the bike you'll always be able to sell them... to Hillbilly maybe
& bung the std ones back on.
