So.....once you lot have stopped hitting each other with your hand bags !

Can anyone offer a bit of advice ?

Piggy.....?

I got a z1000a2 with what I think is a standard motor, carbs are a bit old and leaky and I am thinking of replacing them with something more modern.

I don't want to spend a fortune so I want to pick up a set of standard carbs from a an other bike....gsxr etc ?

Can anyone suggest a good choice that will fit fairly easily and run good on the bike with a standard motor, I would prefer slide carbs than cv's but because all the slides are getting pretty old now may have to go cv's.

Any ideas ?

Its all down to how many spondoolicks you have to throw at it :??

As stated... CV's can work OK, but if they don't you can go round in circles trying to sort them out

Say messing around & get a decent set of Mikuni RFS34 or 36's. If you get rid of the bike you'll always be able to sell them... to Hillbilly maybe  & bung the std ones back on.
And on the 7th day... Zeds were created!
