Although numbers were low, those of us who braved the chilling weather enjoyed a friendly welcome at the Castlebrook. It was nice to meet Ginger Bear for the first time and Piggy even brought Mrs P to visit the the riff raff. Myself and CB even rode over on our bikes though my Zed is comfortably tucked up in my nice warm workshop. Despite the cold weather, neither of us regretted our decision to ride our bike. These modern textile suits are great, and Oxford heated handlebar grips are the invention of the almighty
We enjoyed a damned good chat and Mrs P revealed and interesting secret about Piggy: When she goes out she has to take all the biscuits with her in the car, else there will be none left upon her return
I promise, as CB and Ginger Bear were my witness - I didn't make this up
Piggy rejected the plate he was given by our hosts demanding a proper sized one
He seemed to enjoy his meal though

Was good to meet you guys (n' girls) today. I look forward to meeting more of the Z1OC members.
Food was really good, but I think I have overdone it now, Just eaten my second roast dinner of the day, Mrs Bear (to be) wasn't sure if I was eating, so got home to find a lump of PORK in the oven..... It would have been rude to turn it down!

Good to meet up with Ralph & CB again & for the 1st time, Mr Ginger Bear
Looks like a good venue, well done Ralphy
I shall be bringing my own plate in August.....
Its clear (now) why Ginger Bear was encouraging me to ask for the "up-graded" platter....... He was trying to fatten me up for the Pork Roast

And on the 7th day... Zeds were created!

Mrs TLC was impressed
Thanks Mr and Mrs TLC - my main concern at this time of the year is opening the garage door and finding a salty rusted heap which used to be my bike!
Had a nice ride - bit cold by the time we got there, but good food and company made up for it.
