Hi, just an update on the exhaust saga, I received a new silencer in the post from Kerker, all black and no dents. No letter saying they want the old one back, so not only was it cheap I also have a spare silencer when it falls over in the future. I recommend MAWONLINE in America as their service was outstanding and although the postage was a bit expensive, the stuff they have is so cheap compared to the UK at the moment.

cheers Rob

Hi chaps, after months of waiting my yokes are finally on the way, should get them next week. Hopefully they will be as good as the ones I have seen pictures of. I will bung some photo's up when I get them. Let the rebuild begin. :D

Bought my Z1B from near Haverhill, [Sturmer].

Sturmer is just down the road, mainly goat herders and badger fiddlers there.

My Bro reckons he has seen a z1 in Horseheath about 3 miles out of Haverhill, anybody on here?

Hi Rob

Good luck with the money pit, mines been just over 2 years now...one day soon i hope it will be rolling.

Finally got my yokes and well worth the wait, so I have spent the weekend fitting the front end.

The standard of work on the yokes is great and everything was a perfect fit, They cost me £325, which I thought was very reasonable as he has not made this style before. The only thing I am going to change are some of the bolts.
Rear shocks are needed next, so I will be contacting Z Power soon.

How is it coming? It looks fantastic so far!!
I see the reinforced frame and suspension.
Are those zrx wheels? Where did you get those fork yokes?
Obviously I am planning to update my own bike.
I am enjoying your build so much!

Hi, I will post a couple of photos on here, with the bits loosely installed, it has been a bit slow recently as I am collecting all the bits. I am still waiting to get the frame welded, which hopefully will be done by the end of the month and I will be picking the engine off Jack next month.

Geoff, the aim is to get it on the road during the summer and I will bring it up to the meet for a run.
