I have already conversed with BSL or Brammer as they now are. They could order me up the taper rollers but they would still need to have the inner race ground out to 16mm. After passing my mics and calipers over the two swinging arms I think that they both used the same bearings. I talked to JMC a while ago who told me that they used imperial bearings and had the inner race ground out to 16mm. BSL wanted more for a pair of bearings than I paid for both swinging arms together and they'd still need grinding. I'm tempted to try the ball race bodge and see if it works. It won't cost me anything to try it. :|

Hi Ralph,
The bearings I got were not expensive, do you know if it is actually possible to enlarge the inner to 16mm and how much that would cost?

NAX - Harris use them in their swinging arms. They do have the benefit that you can sleeve the inner down to what size you want.
