I had exactly the same problem with my j2,after a specialists rebuild,it rattled like mad,reset the cams,the rattles still there,but not as loud,it has a new tensioner as well,dunno what to do next.

Hi Jimmock ,
I wouldn't really describe it as dropping in, Bath to Heidelberg is over 1000km, but he is my brother and we had planned to meet at Spa in Belgium.
Just shows so called professionals can get away with (not my first problem here in Germany ) and he still denies that it was wrong . Anyway I remain eternally grateful to my brother and am enjoying being back on the road .
