So, here is the next chapter of the Z1RII restoration.
I removed the oil pan to clean it,and also the strainer of the oil pump.

The Motor is complete and ready to rum.
Now I’m going to complete the brakes.
The front callipers are totally rebuild sand blasted,and got a paint job.
Inside they got a complete new seal kit
New calliper screws and stainless steel brake lines.

The brake discs are looking very dirty, so I cleaned them and gave them a paint job

The rear master cylinder got a cleaning and a rebuild kit.

If you want to register a vehicle in Germany you have to go to the TÃœV. They check that the bike is in good shape and brakes, lights, tyres, all that stuff is ok, and the bike is in original condition.
So for the first I have to take the original wheels with new Avon tyres. If I have the registration I change to the Lester wheels.

Looking great mick, but the Melber's looked pretty cool to me. But thats what makes it your bike. And there is always room for another project :wink:
