Its a possibility Paul, haven't seen a lot of him lately but Z1R is almost complete. Lots of shiny bits appeared on Friday so I think it is just the finishing touches.

AARRRGGGGHHHHH.
Stacked it big style on the way to my MOT .
70 yards on the alternator cover isnt good for it.
Bent forks , yokes ,bars ,footrest, exhaust, clocks etc etc Mudguard bolts torn out the stanchion
I'll have to drop the sump to make sure I've got all the alternator cover out of the engine before I start it.
I'll get it all together with some accumulated spares and ride it and see if the frame's bent too
Metal damage Brain damage
You Hear me Bronze?
Should still make it though

Sorry to hear you dropped the Z9 Gray but glad your ok. I was up your way on Monday via Fintry, Aberfoyle, Dukes Pass. Most of the route was ok but noticed some corners were a bit dodgy with rutting, gravel, farm muck etc.
Check with Stirling Council to see if the loose gravel patch had previously been reported. If it was and they didn't fix it, ask for a compensation form for the damages to the bike and clothing.

Aches and sprains are mostly away now , bike's back together with assorted nasties from my loft collection .I've had it out ( cautiously) and it rides straight , though the lockstop looks about half a centimetre off-centre under the steering head ( leading to large dent in tank). Next stop MOT station then I can tax it and then I'm ready for the off!
So when / where are we meeting? Which ferry?
Thanks for the tip about contacting the Council - I'll try it tomorrow.

Council are going to send me a claim form , and a friend in the council told me that they're using something called a "jetpatcher" these days , and it leaves a lot of loose gravel - a lot of bikes and even cars are coming to grief .
They've had a lot of claims , and some fatalities on some of the roads recently "treated".
Thanks for all the support guys.
