Hello
My z1000a1 needs valve clearances and tuning and mot. I live in london and want to take it somewhere where it will be given some tlc. Can anyone recommend a bloke/place in london pref west? That would be magnificent!

additional:

having had a quick scan of the forums i get the impression the shims i could maybe do myself????? I have basic understandings and a decent workshop but know noddy all about shims. I have the clymer book. will look into it, save some money maybe but still interested to know about mechanincs....

Might not be your exact area but -
When I lived near London I used Finns at Redhill
Brilliant lads there - very knowledgeable - nothing is too much trouble.

Where are you located Dreadman :?: couple of us use Finns for MOT and bike work,old school guy but may not be in your area.

try dogs bollox he's in Ruislip west london, he does my zeds
he runs a Z1000A1 and Z1b himself and has worked on a lot of our members bikes for them. hes is a little busy at present doing 3 z1 engines for our members but maybe he could help.
If you look in the project section find "winter project to restore a neglected Z1B" you will see the standard of his work.
find him in the board menu users section under "dogsbollox of Z1B"

or another option is Andy Clayton (ex daytona kawasaki) APC motorcycles Eastcote middx 0208 423 3122
