I am afraid you are looking for one of the rarest parts there is , as it is not shared with any other model and there were very few in the first place. I have been looking for 2 years and have never seen one come up . A few people have them hidden away in cellars and garages but do not expect them to part with it for anything but silly money .There was talk on here last year about making a few of the braces but nothing been posted since . To think I chucked one out in 88 cause of a bit of rust round the rivets !! Doh.
I gave up and used a 1000r one , it still looks ok with the 18 inch wheel.
Good luck
Richard

I'm on the case to have some braces made up, but the folds are curved so it's taking the company that's doing it some time. It's a love (of me) job so I can't push too hard, but I've just given them a £20k order so maybe that will concentrate their minds a little.

I have 2 genuine mudguards, but I have 2 bikes so I will be keeping them.

They will look the same once fitted, but the structure inside will be slightly different.

Just for your info, the blade is the same as the Z1000J, Z1000R, GPZ1100 etc, they didn't make an 18" wheel version for the 1100, just changed the brace. That's why the 1100R mudguard sits so high off the tyre.
Cheers,

It's the wrong bracket, that's the 1000J GPZ1100 1000R type the 1100R had one like this....

You can also see what I mean about how high it sits off the tyre too.

but u cant blame people who bought them back in day and have held onto them; when I bought my ELR 1100 about 8 years back, the mudguard wasn't great, I contacted dave marsden who said he had a NOS one, it cost me £200 then; I took the original off and found a local car guy who welded and repainted it for £50, its still doing service now, so the original is still up loft, but yes, if I was offered silly money I would sell it, who wouldn't? you want rare parts, u have to pay for them, that's life

One of mine has the stays cut down to lower the mudguard, but standard that's how they are.

Thant's not my bike so I can't comment on the tyre.

You can't blame anyone for wanting what something is worth, it's worth what someone will pay.

We do it with our houses all the time.
