Thanks jb its another small step on the way. Wheels are now sorted out, thanks for youre help, as are the forks. I'm planning to do as many trackdays in 2014 as i can.
My local club has a two day event at Rockingham and classibiketrackdays will hopefully have some UK days as well.

Dimensions available if anyone wants them.

Final drawings lost i'm afraid so back to original sketches,.. dimensions are as follows for those that expressed an interest;

Top and bottom sleeves;
28mm OD
10mm ID (clearance)

Top sleeve length;
240mm (0.5 to 1mm longer than the width of the top mount)

Bottom sleeve;
111mm length ( same length as the width of the bottom mount)

I had judged the top castings too frail to take being compressed across their width, not so the bottom mounting bosses.

--------

Four spacers to take the place of the bonded washer arrangements;
Three are 40mm OD
10mm clearance ID.
10mm wide.

The fourth
40mm OD
10mm clearance ID
13.5mm wide (for the top left hand side,... takes the place of the bonded washer together with the single steel horseshoe shaped spacer).

Material Alloy of some sort.
