Will look at replacing the shocks at at later date.
The plan is to get it up and running 1st and see if it will handle if at all.
If anyone has ridden one of these in anger. Any feedback would be appreciated. I know there are a couple raced in 4 hr endurance races at spa and the like.

This is the Project 34 GS1000

Been a while bump

Not much to report. Slow burner. Mtc pistons fitted and top end on. Cams need dialling in. That'll be another 6 months gone...

Eee.. I really miss my Moto Martin. My frame cracked around the lower engine mount due to me shoving too many horses through it on the drag strip.
They do handle real sweet though, and are far more comfortable than a Harris or Rickman.

Your pistons look like they have quite a high CR on this engine you're building.?
If they're just 10.25:1 you'll be fine, but if they're 13:1 you'll need to have the liners piano wired.
Just a thought.....

Keep up with the progress reports and all the best, Will
