Daz,

I don't know of anyone in the Kent area who can re-hard chrome fork legs, but I have used 'Philpotts' who are based in Luton. You can have them collected and delivered for around ?130 all in. If you collect them yourself and pay cash you should get it done for about ?90-100.
By the way, those prices are based upon you stripping the legs down and re-building them yourself.
regards,
Steve

I think Fitforx will undertake the whole job but it's not that cheap, but they'll do it all so I suppose you get what you pay for. Never used them so can't comment but might be worth enquiring - you'd get the number in Classic Bike and the like.

When I first got my Zed the forks were pitted so I sent them off to Hard Chrome Plating and Grinding ( HCP&G ) of Nottingham , that was 19 years ago and 40 thousand miles ago and they'e still sound and oiltight .
I had some other forks straightened and ground/plated last month and it cost about ?120-130 I think, 5 week turnaround but keep in touch with them .
They advertise in MSN
