SEAT COVER Z1 help

#1 PostAuthor: bedlow1 » Sat Nov 24, 2012 5:43 pm

Would any of you know if its possible and where to buy a realy good quality z1 seat cover. Im looking for an exact replica, with the slightly raised cushioned sections, and glossy. it must look spot on.
should look like image below
The patterned one ive seen so far (pmc/doremi) are made of a duller material, and are not cushioned on top pattern.

thanks

Graham
Why don't you speak to Chris Smith as the one he used on his 73 Z1 project seemed very good or better still get Mike Hunnisett to let you have one of his new seats at cost
Regards
Steve

yes i have seen his seat cover its good he got it from a company called route 66 in the states. They seem to be no longer, when you do a search it defaults to z1parts.net and their seat covers dont look so good to me, unless anyone knows different.???

Since that post i've bought a GPz1100B1 cover from them and it's spot on.

Worth asking as their EBay shop doesn't always seem to list every version and FWIW, the Z1R one he did for me does have the padding built in.
