Replacement headstock decal

I am now deep into my restoration and have hit a number of snags. The first is sourcing a replacement headstock decal for an american import Z900 A4 It contains information unique to the bike(date of manufacture and frame number). I was impressed by DaveZ1A restoration - he got his from Sunrise graphics but they were not interested in doing mine.

Anybody sourced a replacement lately??

i spoke to someone at sunrise yesterday & they said they could do them.
they needed a pic of the original"to get it right". mines a us spec aswell.
sent them a pic,so now awaiting a call.will keep you posted

The Image Works make their graphics/bike decals. :wink:
Many other bike decal suppliers don't.

then another week later and out of the blue/without warning I get an email to say that it is ordered and on its way for the sum of £7.50 inc p&p.

Seems I have done Sunrise a disservice. We will see when it gets here...

I think Sunrise did me a disservice Bill.... Charged me a tenner +PP :roll:
Wont quibble about a couple of quid tho considerin its just a drop in the Z1 resto ocean :save and the replica decal was spot on :up
Watchin your club resto with interest by the way :up If theres anything you have seen on my DavesZ1A project that I can help you with, just ask :D :D
