Marving v.Vance & Hines on Z1000A2

#1 PostAuthor: Holeshot » Sat Jul 16, 2011 10:02 pm

Some advice needed please:)

I've got a V&H with race baffles on my Z1000A2 at the moment.
My problem is that it grinds out on right-handers.
I'm thinking of changing pipes and quite like the look of the Marving 'race'.

Two questions:
1) Does the Marving grind out easily?
2) Is the Marving as free flowing as the V&H? I ask this as my engine's fairly tuned (1045/cam/head/valves/VM29's) so needs to breathe as easily.

Any comments would be gratefully received.

Cheers :)

Holeshot, i've got a Marving on my Z1000 and never had any probs with it grinding out and as for the engine breathing bit my engine is a 1105 motor and it runs fine with the pipe.
See pic,

Guyzed,
Well what a cracking looking Thou you've got....lovely:)

Thanks for the info - just what I needed to know, thanks.

If you don't mind me asking, what size front wheel are you running and where did you get the mudguard from?

Thanks again.
