Hi all ,pulled the head off the B today no damage apparent to valves etc can anyone recomend a good alloy welder able to repair the rev-counter tunnel.

Paul, Martin at Rustler racing in Kitts Green Birmingham, next to P AND P seating. He is the best alloy welder Ive seen. He is the guy who did most of the repairs for the motorcycle museum after it burnt down and is an exceptional engineer. Last year I bought a set of 73 barrels of Steve Smethurst who said they could not be repaired and guess what? £35 later they were perfect.Showed Steve who was very impressed so give him a try. Will send you his number now.
