Z1000 valve clearance, 0.05-0.10 or 0.05-0.15

Hi all,
Just wondered if anyone can confirm the valve clearance on a z1000a1, as in the official manual in the adjustment section of the book says 0.05-0.10, while in the supplement section it says 0.5-0.15....
I have just done a check on my valves and they come up as inlets within the 0.10, and the exhaust approx 0.12.. so all within or very close..
cheers,
Andy...

Gordon, realising that the shims only come in increments of 0.05 mm, it is very dificult to satisfy perfection. However, if you aim for an "easy" 0.05mm (0.002") and a tight 0.10mm (0.004"), You have achieved success. I would accept no greater than 0.15 mm. Later Z manuals recommend up to 0.15 mm. It's always better to err on the big side, then you will never burn that valve face.
