I'm not buying a gs,
i just need to know, not that there is anything wrong with the gs range, I've had a couple in the past. its just a question, thanks to one and all.

Mick - it'll work OK, but to get it to fit may need a bit of "giggy-giggy"
Even tho' the GS range blatantly copied the Zed, the dimensions for the bits & bobs are probably different........
Also the trigger (rotor that fits on the advance unit) may need "tweaking to fit on the end of the crank
Suck & see

The pickups are the same. The backplate is different. The rotor (with the magnet) is the same diameter, but is cut differently to fit on the end of the Suzuki crank. The magnet is set at a different angle on the GS version as those bikes have slightly different ignition timing.
73 Z1 (turbocharged), a 74 Z1A, and some h***a's and Suzuki's...
