Help!!
due to smoking problem had barrels honed original size. (see previous post if necc.)
Zpower sell 2 types of piston rings
genuine kawasaki or pattern rings.
i just want to know if the pattern rings would suit or would i be better just paying more fore the genuine part?
I know that genuine is obv. the best but is there much difference in quality to the pattern rings?
I only ask as the price difference is significant and dont want to either fork out for genuine and someone tell me the pattern are just as good
or
fork out for the pattern and drop a boll@ck by then having to buy the genuine part in the end

Johnboy,
Pattern rings will be perfectly Ok, however, you MUST offer them into the bores first and tailor the end clearance as per manual.

before buying any rings have the bores measured to see if they are within service limits and also measure each piston to see the difference in piston to bore clearance???
