OK guys, Ive just taken the insides out of a repro z1b right hand switch block from zpower and had no problem putting them into the z1 casing, i hope this helps someone as i was having trouble finding the earlier switch gear. the only thing Ive fluffed is while snipping the wires to take the kill switch out, i forgot to remember which wire connects to which bit of solder my thoughts are that it doesn't matter, can anyone confirm this.
PS, i now see that i would have been better off snipping the wires and putting bullet connectors on, but that's me all over

There you go Mick, told you it could be done as this is wot i did with mine. The L/H switch is more difficult as you have to un solder and swop wires around and you need to use the original horn button
sorry Chris, no offence,i thought as you said it could be done, that it could be done, but Garn threw in a case of doubt, i just had to check.
sometimes you can have many conflicting views on here, i don't know to many people on here personally, so have to edge my bets.
putting a picture up showing the results may help a few members

Chris M, it's easy to say "I told you that it could be done", however, with respect, you have been very quite for the last month odd, on the subject matter. I did expect you to give Mick some support and speak up with an assurance that, indeed, it can be done!.
