I need to order spokes for `74 Z1a but don`t understand the butted/not butted stuff? Could anyone tell me what I need to order please?
I want the original type.Any suggestions of supplier/approx price would be
much appreciated.Thanks,Keith.

i was directed by members to this place keef, i believe butted spokes are the ones everbody recomends.

Hi Keith,
To be authentic you need butted (spoke has smaller diameter over the middle part)
Try http://www.central-wheel.co.uk/
I just bought a set of stainless from them and was very pleased. If you want originality you will need zinc plate (about half the price).
Their website has all the info and prices you need.
