Hi, my name is Julian, I own a Z1000J with 17" wheels, Zephyr swingarm, FZR1000 forks and brakes and a Unitrak head and cams and barrel, I don't know what pistons are in it. I'm in the process of getting it running properley.
I'd like to find who built it, I bought it from Guildford and it was originally registered in Guildford, previous owner knew nothing about, which is why I got a bit of a bargain.[/img]

Sounds like an interesting bike you have there.
There is/was a guide to posting pics somewhere, but I'll be fooked if I can find it.

Welcome, I saw your bike on facebook at the weekend and it looks very smart , plenty of ELR reps here on this site from original to much modded , lots of help and good tips available here too.

It looks better in the photo than it is, you can't see the stained paint or the birds nest wiring.

Welcome Julian, get it up in the projects section. What is the inch diameter circle just below the side panel,... cross tube? High quality reproduction side panels are available at discount through the club.
