Unlike many of the people on here who hae a sense of humour I don't have a problem with Hodnas, and was all up for a New Fireplace back in the day. However after managing to blag a test ride and being VERY impressed with the performance, the handling and brakes didn't feel right to me.

Also tried the R1 which was a truly awesome piece of kit but just a bit cramped for a Six-Footer. Almost by default I ended up with a 9R C1 which other than the comedy rear shock combined all the good stuff of the other two without their drawbacks.

and yes the 16 inch front wheel did take a bit of getting used to. Never had a problem with the brakes though.

Works both ways Chris, Maybe some on here could grow a sense of humour instead of deafening us all with the sounds of toys and Dummy's hitting the floor every time Honderer or Mowerpeds are mentioned!.

I'm happy with H**** being a rude word...but what about Suzuki..Yamaha...and especially triumph whos early triples were an zx1000 with a pot missing.

Back on weekends, usually frazzled but hey ho. I have a nice US A4 imported and restored by a club member, runs like a zed couldn't be happier

Well, the 93 FireBlade is being stripped down and the fairing sections are off to the painter in January - just waiting for an OE upper cowl decal set to arrive from Japan., so that could take a while..............

Well, the 93 FireBlade is being stripped down and the fairing sections are off to the painter in January - just waiting for an OE upper cowl decal set to arrive from Japan, so that could take a while..............once finished I can set about selling it and looking for the right Z900.
