Z1 Resto Gauge Restoration

#1 PostAuthor: StevieT » Sat Jun 06, 2009 6:19 pm

A plug really for Z1 Resto in the US (www.z1enterprises.com) as I've just become the proud owner of a set of restored gauges from them.
Can highly recommend them. Took about 3 weeks from receipt of order to delivery.

Ideally I think the process would have been to send my current ones across for refurbishment but the speedo face plate was destroyed (no idea how!) and the tacho although serviceable was incorrect for the bike year. So I bit the bullet and paid for a new set of refurbished ones. $199 each. An improved exchange rate would obviously benefit here, but considering the quality and that they are the correct gauges for the Z1A I am more than happy. besides I couldn't find anyone in the UK that did it anymore
