i have a head like that one that im rebuilding,but someone says it is a mk11 head,whats the difference then, :?: am near that point of rebuild that you seem to be at,(ant painted mine yet) :wink:has that head got cracks were the plug goes. :|

Hillbilly,
This is a 1973 head mid run, there are a whole bunch of differences between this and Z1A & Z1B heads, and the earlier '72 head. Post some images of the fins taken lookiing inot the carb inlets and from underneath and if its a 900 head I should be able to tell you.

No cracks on this head at all its perfect. When you say MKII do you mean a Z1000 MKII or have a second generation of Z1 head. :?:
