73 progress and thanks to Al Marshall

I am very happy with my new 73. I changed oil and good petro and road her 50 miles or so. No smoke or strange engine noises.
Lots of power as it has a 1045 denco kit. The tyres were a little dry rotted so I was very cautious.
I swapped the lester mag wheels to a friend for a set of nicely re-laced Z1 wheels dated 3 3 with new dunlop tyres. The front wheel was missing the hub dust shield and
fellow z1 forum member Al Marshall give me one for free!! Thank you Al. I will be sending you a pm soon..
So while I was changing wheels I replaced the steering bearing with a new tapered set. Frame cleaned up nicely
