howdy folks, here's a pic of my bike as it looked about a year ago,it looked like this for the last 20years or so.I bought this bike in 1982 and it had a bit of checkered history, shortly after I bought it the wiring burnout and I got a 3 month ban and I was in well over my head as spotty 17 yearold.

after not being started for 18 years I gave the tank an anti rust treatment of POR15 a new battery ,fresh fuel and oil and it started first go ,it did blow a fair bit of smoke when I first started it but that was to be expected I guess,it still blows a bit of smoke on start up but that is slowly getting less with each time I start it,it just goes to show the bullet proofness of these motors, I was well chuffed when it started ,will see how things go over the next few months, I would like to eventually take the head off and maybe get the top end done up. Hope you enjoy the pics ,this is how it is now,Im not real happy with the seat but it will do for now.Cheers Ken.
