Look closer

There you go I told you it was good.

Oh!! Maybe not THAT good.

Does anybody recognise it?

I could really do with the registration number.

I'm led to believe it may have been around the Bristol area.

What more do you want, its got wheels, an engine, frame, and if im not mistaken that looks very similar to the front and back end i had on my GS1000 street fighter, CBR 600?

No I don't think concours is a viable option for me really.

It cost me £200

I was looking at a MKII and left it too late, a guy from Ireland bought it so I bought this as it was there anyway.

I believe the running gear is CBR1000F but I'm not sure.

I'm sure this is going to take me some time.

As you can see it needs a few things to tidy it up!!!!!!!!!

Tank, seat, panels, tailpiece, zorst, etc.

I need to build a bike to get it MOT'd to be able to register it as I have no paperwork or registration number(unless anyone knows otherwise).

If I believe everything I read on here, then our Mr Pigford is the resident freebee collector.

I would like to challenge this.

So if you have any parts that you would not use or sell, because of some damage or rust etc, then I'm your man.

Gus,check the frame number out to see if it's a U.K. or a U.S. model.
See if Jerry has any record of the bike with the club.
Pigford is only playing at it,legend in his own lunchtime Iain Marshall is the club's own Electro-Magnet when it comes to "free" bitz.
Pattern side panels and tail pieces are available from Jerry.
Panels are £25 each and tails are £50.Better than original quality :D :D

Thanks Guys

This is what I have.

The frame number is Z1F-14954

The engine number is Z1E-15226

The tailpiece is I think an aftermarket fibreglass Z900/1000

Wasn't from Saltford, village between Bristol and Bath, was it? I know a fellow whose garden looks like that and gives his bike that level of devotion. Joke is he's got quite a few nice bikes ... or at least bikes that started out nice

Hi Ralph.

No it was bought locally by me but apparently was from a job lot from a Bristol bike shop.

So who knows what the history is.

Maybe someone does
