Baby Zed

#1 PostAuthor: RALPHARAMA » Tue May 27, 2008 4:24 pm

New project - 1980 Zed 250.

Kindly donated to me by Mikey :D Top bloke ! Even delivered it to me door!

The challenge with the baby Zed is to make it as nice as possible and spend as little as possible. Thanks to Mikey I now have a bike and the project balance is still nil! As I've got two sets of tank, tail piece and side panels I may see if I can teach myself to spray paint! I've got a gun and compressor, just need to learn the art! How hard can it be :??

Three cheers for Mikey :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Ralph, I had the misfortune to own one of those things at 17 put me off four strokes for the next twenty years. They were a smart looking bike, but watch out for the plastic clutch release mechanism, plastic oil pump drive and most importantly the cam that runs directly in the head..............I managed to destroy 3 of the fcukers in 16 months

I then gave up and bought an aged RD350 :D :D
Feng shui................my arse
